bellechere:

Myself as Ms. Marvel with her Binary powers. Though she has appeared like this in the comics, my true adoration for this costume came from this Kotobukiya figurine.

Here is how I did the flames.

The makeup is Mehron, though the eyes and lips are a blend of Mac and Geek Chic Cosmetics.

The top and bottom photos are by Rodney Brown, along with the extra photoshopped pizzaz in the first photo.

The other photos are by my friend Benn Robbins of Robbins Studios Photography.

Now I’m working on Captain Marvel, Carol Danvers’ lastest incarnation. I’m really pleased with the fabric choices, and I’m really looking forward to styling a wig into a faux hawk. I had no idea this was going to be such a Ms.-Marvel-centric year, but I’m looking forward to the launch of Capt. Marvel. A lot. So hopefully the costume will be done by ConnectiCon.

I also hope to complete Witchblade for CTCon, too. Ivy Valentine fabric came in, as well. I’m not ditching the rest of my costumes for this year!
